At first sight, he may seem a bit gruff but in reality, he’s a great man who strongly believes in passing on knowledge. Lots of winemakers passed through his wine estate before setting up theirs and he helps them find their way and style without imposing a format. Besides, he very often lets them make their own cuvée with his vines.

This is old school wine and as you may guess, trends and fads aren’t his thing at all. Then you may smoothly drink it for the aperitif but you may as well have it throughout the meal. To go with roasted meat, rock fish, poultry, etc…This wine is spicy and fruity. Most of all, it has finesse and complexity. It is long on the palate and its taste evolves glass after glass.
